Kim Liddell
Services Coordinator, PCIL
Kim Liddell is the Independent Living and Transition Advocate for the Progress Center for Independent Living’s (PCIL) Blue Island, Illinois office. Since 2004, she has served the needs of people with disabilities in suburban Chicago providing direct support, guidance and resource referrals as well as pre-employment transition services to youth with disabilities. Prior to her post with PCIL, she served as the Personal Assistance Coordinator at the DuPage Center for Independent Living where she served consumers with housing needs and services. She is a member of the Blind/Low Vision Advisory Group and provides counsel on accessibility of information from and about Medicare and state services serving the visually impaired community. She also assists people with hearing loss in testing and selecting amplified phone devices and is herself, a smart technology enthusiast.
